Womens Rights

STAND UP WOMEN AND RECIEVE WHAT HAS BEEN RIGHTFULLY GIVEN TO YOU!!!

We cook, clean, and wash everything, smile and grin but for what??? So the males in this world can out number us in the work field and then take over? NO! We are strong independent women of all nationalities and deserve to be just as equal as a man. We can bear children then get back to business. We are capable of running our own company and having males work under us in any field. We as women can stand up and fight for our rights like our mothers and fathers fought for the land beneath our feet.

We will be fierce and flawless. We will be strong and steady. We will be kind and courageous.
We will be Women and We will Win!

Hypocrites: In The Church

The Introduction:
I have been introduced to hypocrites my whole life so much I even see it in the mirror when I wake up. But this inst about me this is about a group of kids that don't know how to be themselves and change every time they enter the house of God. This is not about my religion or anything bad about my religion. This is about the poison that goes on in a church when its not suppose to be there.

The Plot:
You hear all the time of bullying at school and how its gotten way out of hand it usually involves rumors, smirks, cliques, and teenagers. What if this story didnt take place at a school but made its way into a church youth group. Ten kids, three guys and six girls, (whose names are not relevant) involved in drama and hypocrisy inside the house of the Lord.

In the Church:
The youth group at AppleBerry Baptist Church (not the real name) are looked at as the future leaders in the house of God. They are voluntary and giving to the misfortune and love helping others before themselves. The kids are talented and show compassion for the Lord and want to reach others through Christ. They love each other as sisters and brothers of Christ and love doing activities to reach out to their community and church members. They sit on the front row pew and put on drama skits and dinners for the community and church. The elderly church members see them as loving children and appreciate all the hard work that goes into any event they do. The church sees these young youth kids as Gods plan to change the community and should be rewarded for being so "Christ- Like". This is how the outside of the youth group is seen to the church members.

At the School:
No one speeks to one another unless they have to. They spread off into their own cliques and worry about other things like friends, homework, or the new inappropriate song that just came out on itunes. They never speak of their religion and if it is brought up they just agree and don't press the issue further. When spotting another church member in the hallway a wave or smile is all that is shared because they are on school time and not church time. If they hangout in the same clique then they might indulge in a conversation between classes. If they are not.. they are looked down upon like a plague. This is the school environment that the youth group lives.

The Reality:
There is a separation at the youth group there are two cliques of each gender and one clique of both girls and boys. Only a few are welcome in each clique. There are only three guys so the seven girls obviously like them but there is only enough for three. When one girl is dating one of the guys that another girl liked the girl in the relationship becomes an outcast. When one girl is not doing what is expected by her peers to do she is looked at and talked badly about by others. If a guy is not listening to the right type of rap music he is labeled dumb and stupid. The girls can talk about one girl one day then smile and hug her the next. They can be best friends on Facebook but hate each other in real life. One girl is in a relationship with one guy and they are happy together, the other girl liked the same guy and spread a rumor about that girl that wasn't christian like at all. When they sit on the front pew they dose off, pass notes, or secretly talk to one another. When they have to do another skit they complain and joke around and never take it seriously. When they give dinners they always complain about being on their feet and count down the minutes till its over. This is the inside of AppleBerry Baptist Youth that no one sees.

The Ending.
Is this what is expected when one wants to join a youth group? Hypocrites are everywhere and you cant hide from their lies and deception. They manipulate and make you think they are something they are not. the youth group at this church has a reputation of being Holy and giving. The Truth? The only thing that's holy about them is the holes in their heart and the only thing they give is knives in the backs of their fellow youth members. They are hypocrites living in disguise behind their bibles and hymns. If hypocrisy seeps into our church were can we find salvation what can we rely on to be real???

Dear Willy Loman

Dear Willy Loman,

I am writing to you from the future. Since your life has gone all out of whack it is my duty to confront you. Willy Loman you have allowed your work to overcome your family and life and it is spiraling into the ground. Face the facts that Biff does not want to be like you and if you stop paying attention to Biff long enough to notice Happy you will see he is jumping over hurtles to get someone to notice him. As for Linda she is a loving and caring wife and you treat your sales products better than her. I have say when Charley told you "the only thing you got in this world is what you can sell" shouldn't be true. I know the "American Dream" is so important to you but believe me in the future it is just a dream and you are losing your family over it. You need to get your act together before you have a break down and crash your car one day and die.

Your Friend From The Future :)

Leave It To The Cleavers

Leave it to the Cleavers: To Kill the American Dream

What do we think when someone says "American Dream". There is most likely a home located in a family packed subdivision in a fifties decade. Inside there is a mother with a pearl necklace and high heels fixing a hot meal in the kitchen with a flowered apron. Outside the two coed children are playing basket ball and hop-scotch with the other kids in the neighborhood. Then when the suited father arrives home from his high business job he is greeted at the door with a drink from his wife. They all sit around the dinner table as they each go around and talk about what they did that day. On it goes day after day the "American Dream" and thanks to The Cleavers this is what many feel the "American Dream" should be like. Ever since the fifties the "American Dream" has died  little by little but The Cleavers will always hold the trophy for the perfect "American Dream".
